Winston Churchill is sometimes credited with the quote. "Soccer is a gentleman's game played by hooligans. On the other hand, rugby is a hooligans game played by gentlemen."

Now, I'm not sure whether or not WC actually said this or not, but as far as Im concerned this quote tells us all we need to know.

if youre talking about a strict choice between football or rubgy then rugby, but neither of those are my sport so based on that, theyre both meh. was mad about football growing up though, but if Id watch anything of those two now it would be rugby, way more intense and exciting.

football: hooligangs game played by gentleman

Rugby: gentlemans game played by hooligans.

hooligans are more entertaining to watch, cause footballers are annoying pansies with not much respect for their own game feigning injury to get freekicks and all that bollox. htfu. poofs

Heared exactly the same yesterday, but he wasn't that sophisticated and used scumbags instead of nicer hooligans

Gaelic football is a hooligans game, played by hooligans.

I hate rugby, particularly the people that play it... Mutants in the pack and posh people in the backs.

Has to be rugby because I play it, much more physical game and I like to get stuck it, Football is played by kids while Rugby is played by real men
