aahhh good old SMS. a blast from the past (nearly) lol
I think the delay in a reply tells us that they might not have considered how to do that fairly. Available at time of text is the only other criteria I could think of that could be known when the text is sent and even then that would still probably leave several ladies so it does look like EI lottery will be at play.
Nevertheless I do think its a good idea and all concerned should be applauded for their initiative.

just had a glance so I probably missed the point

Ok lets discuss the usefulness of this new feature.
Now we have a new SMS service to find Escorts in our given area. Sounds great, but how exactly does it work. It has been pointed out if you don't want to use this service then don't use it. Best to make that initially clear.
So we have a facility to send a text message to a "magic" number. In this text you can request escort contact details, from 1 to 5 replies only mind, for escorts in your required area. In your request you are to state location, escort type, number of results and type of call out. The "magic" number will respond to you with the required number of escorts, in the required area, of the required type. So if I were to ask for "Cork, female, 1, incall"... I may receive "Sexy Mary, Cork, 086 1234566, Verified". If there are 80 girls in cork, why is Mary recommended.
Even so, what use is this to me? who is Mary. How much does she charge? What are her favourites? Should I call her now? ...
I personally think not.. I would feel more inclined to visit the website and view the cork page to see who Mary is. But isn't this defeating the purpose of this new feature.
It is supposed that this new feature is an extra service if people cannot get to a computer or if the site goes down. But if the site is down or I do not have computer access, how do I get the Magic number? or how may I check the profile?
I have questioned the usefulness of this new feature. I question the selection process. I question the purpose. Who will use it and why.
Then again, this is purely my opinion and perhaps there are those that will find it useful.. I personally don't see the benefit.

James, the thread is open for debate , I see your post and is not offensive.
Surely Sam will be nice enough to explain us, the stupid ones , what is the benefit we will get from this sms feature.
you get all excited and your at the landmark then you get a canceled apointment at that time your not thinking with your big head so the sms is a great idea at the time
if your paranoid its bad , you text your number to a database record online and it can be easily mated to your profile if you leave reviews , im sure it costs a few extra cents for the ei to collect lol
