There's good & bad agencies just as there are good & bad independents. I know the agencies in UK usually take 30%, they do the advertising, they take the phone calls & get you the business.
Having never met a pimp, I can only speak hypothetically. From what I can gather, pimps control the girls to the degree that they take most the money the girls make, give them a small amount back for their own needs, dictate what hours & where they work.
How can you tell if a girl is working for an agency or a pimp? I can only presume you will not know 100% unless the girl tells you or something else in the apartment gives you an insight into the operation from that particular apartment.

If you mean that 85% of them out there are 'pimped' by youself, then yeah, I'd believe that!
But otherwise your man's numbers seem to have been conjured up from thin air and are backed by NOTHING-- much like every single claim and figure put out there by Ruhama and their ilk.

How can anyone really tell what share a pimp takes or how he works his/her girls. Surely there are various different types of pimps, both male and female. I have heard stories of "boyfriends" working their girlfriends. It is in these cases that the girl seems exploited. But then again is she? I say seems because we do not really know their relationship. If they are living life together with one income then who is to say how that is to be apportioned. In some cases the boyfriend has psychological control. I feel for these girls. Hopefully these are in the minority.

I did say I was talking hypothetically as I had never met a pimp, therefore my opinion is based on information from articles that I have read. If a boyfriend is working his girlfriend, then I believe he is said to be living off 'immoral earnings'. I suppose each case of a boyfriend working his girlfriend will have different set of circumstances. Is he accused of being 'a pimp' no not usually, he's usually cast as an 'abuser'.

Just reminding you of your 'pimp' status mate!
And of course, an escort working with/through an agency does NOT mean that she's being pimped, or automatically mean she's being mistreated, abused or exploited either. But the the esitimate that ONLY 15% of the ladies out there are fully independent not only strikes as being quite low, it's backed by nothing other than a 'gut feeling' or anecdotal accounts of other people's own estimates.
Either way, it's not much to go on, but your man with his long list of ZERO REVIEWS believes that only 15% of the ladies are actually independent, so should we take his word on it as a reflection of what's actually TRUE?

May I just say the girl gives the money to the boyfriend , without being forced to do so.
How do I know?
I speak to foreign people more than others do.

Well, one thing is for certain, even sex workers themselves are confused with these ambiguous statistics. One person reckons 15% are probably independent, Ruhama reckon 95% are trafficked and coerced (I'm also guesstimating! ), another person I remember reckoned 75% of profiles were fake. 80% of escorts are probably Romanian, 99% are genuinely happy, some 'true' independents probably hire people to take care of some part of their work (transport, taking calls, etc.) or have some other financial investment within the sex industry (girls working for them, properties, etc.), most clients would report an escort that they think are coerced, etc. etc. etc..
Speculation, speculation, speculation. Someone really needs to do their homework and get these things into perspective, not throw figures around randomly to fit their agenda. One of the main issues is determining how these terms, such as 'pimp', 'trafficked' and 'coerced', are defined. Another main issue is that people are assuming that some of these terms are the same thing, and that's the power of the media. A dolphin isn't a fish and a zebra isn't a horse, after all.
