I am usually not one to get into the heavy debates on the Forum but I am surprised no one picked up on this:

A sad day for democracy in general and France in particular.
More than 70% of the population opposed this law.
All the major health organisations opposed this law.
The human right organisation opposed this law.
The sex worker association opposed this law.
The sex workers themselves opposed this law.
But as usual the elected reprentatives of the people represented no one but themselves.
On a slightly different topic, but still about personal freedom,
Colour ink tattoo is now illegal in france as well, on the basis that it might, I repeat it might have a negative effect on health.
They admit that there is absolutely no scientific or medical evidence or proof to support this theory, but decided to do it as a preventive mesure.
Again, the population was opposed to it, but the good representative of the people of France did what they do best ,listen to noone ,and take away more personal freedom.
If it was commonly joked that Sarkozy was standing on the right side of hitler, the current socialist governement with hollande at its head is sitting on the left side of Staline.
As usual, the people pay the price for the ego and stupidity of those m*****f*****s .

I have never purchased sex! I compensated the lady for her time and companionship though.
Seriously though the yobs have lost the plot here, if the Irish Government legalised the Industry just think of how many extra beds could be put into our hospital system as a result, not to mention a possible boost in tourism, like we have so many wet days it would give the tourists something else to do when the weather is shite.
The industry is legal in Germany and look at how their economy is doing
