Who gives a shit really we are who we want to be, no nationality is perfect God knows Irish have had there issues take the civil war men who faught together butchered each other afterwards.

There have been instances in the past where I did not state that I was an American as I have been discriminated against over here. Not in Ireland though, this was in Germany. Was also spat at and told that I should go home... I was a soldier then so probably was someone who took offence with us being there.

The main qualification to being Irish is not would you believe red hair or indeed red neck but its a good sense of humour ,develope that and you're laughing ( no pun intended -well maybe there was a pun intended -well ok its a deliberate pun )
