Great news!
It's been an amazing week for me. I got terrific good news!
I had a routine health check up a few months back and it uncovered a lump on my prostate (ironic given my fantasies of having prostate massage). PSA tests were fine but it was a likely early find. I fully realize there are far far worse forms of cancer but it still was a little bit of a scary prospect. You need to be mentally tough so I had pretty much assumed I had cancer and was getting ready to deal with it without fuss.
After an MRI scan and biopsy earlier this month I finally got the outcome from my consultant this week. He gave me the all clear. Wow! It's a real life changing reaffirming moment - to make the most of precious life. I really feel this will have a big impact.
The irony is that I only shared the threat with the two people closest to me. Now it's good news I feel like shouting it from the rooftops but you can't really go around telling friends and colleagues you haven't got cancer? This is probably a guy attitude but you don't want to appear like a drama queen!
So I want to share it with my new friends on the boards here....who anyway know I'm a secret pervert
I swear this is true.
No drama but FUCK life is good!!!
