all i can say where is these free dealers give out samples

if i ask some lads who sell weed for a joint before buy id be told eh no

where btw do you get your stastics the vast amount of drug dealers sell to kids, have you experience of dealers?
tis kinda like ruhuma saying we are all trafficked

its like the sunday world there drugs on every corner of dublin inner city, em fucking where? ive looked like

you gotta look for drugs, and look hard

at 15 i was walking in offies buying drink with my sisters id, that not a faultless system really,

and btw the first drug i tryed was brandy on my gums as a teething toddler! but in later years the one i took wanting to try was a cigerette or a sup of my fathers pint or wine with my family, and im not ragging alco today either, mind i still like brandy

and again its the parents education, kids will always wanna try things, and forbidden fruit is always sweeter,

and no one talks about legalising drugs for kids, have it the same as drink and tobocco,

also look foward to actual proof of dealers given free hits to kids, or did you read that in sunday world,

if you take that as gospel why are you here? they say we are trafficked aswell, and im talking ireland not other countries

plus using your arguement that unregulated vendors of naroctics sell to children the simple answering to regulate it and sell at over 18 with id at a premises

wouldnt that cut down all these free hits? i doubt dunnes wud, you know they loose over 18grand a year form people stealing grapes i was surprised too

I've grown up in the middle of it Saoirse and have seen it first hand.I've had a family member and a few friends given drugs this way when they where barely teenagers by well known dealers and unless they have grown a conscience,i have no doubt they are still doing it today,or at least have their"employees" doing it.

again few dealers will do this, not now adays more likely to your arguements is a friend had some and offered it,

that friend could be older but again to your arguement, if legal we cud have legal vendors who would age check

but sadly, like with drink they will get it, but then that leaves education, i noticed in my neighbours class 5 years yonger than me, alot dont drink at all, and i remember been able to drink ur like a greyhound out of the trap at it, but that passes and u get sick of it it also been normalised and available everywhere...

in holland alot dutch teens dont smoke weed they can if they want doesnt mean they will its normal its mostly tourist driving the economy there,

but every arguement including the world children can be simple sumed up with well alchol is sold and tobocco regulate it put it on a premises available to spot checks, id check,

if you say that wont work, so what are taughts on alchol why is this not banned, because i have worked in a&e's and people comming in with alchol related admittence is much higher, and of children ie under the age of 18 its alchol again and rollar blades!

I have already said i don't mind drugs being legalised, take it away from the dealers, educate the kids and help the addicts. But that is not the case as it stands now,and in reply to your origional post,i do blame the dealers, not for supplying recreational drugs to mature open minded adults, but for supplying them to people who can't,for 1 reason or another, make the right decision for themselves.

Legalising drugs is a debate which will always divide people,so i'm not having a go at you,we're just discussing it,but it's important we listen to both sides and take all opinions and experiences on board. It is the only way we as a society can make the right decision for us.The important thing is to protect the more vunerable members of our society from what can be an absolutely horrible and devastating life for them and their families.

If legalisation is the way to go then we should do it and do it right, but i will always blame the pushers for what my family, friends and their families have had to go through. They gave free and then sold very addictive drugs to children, all for the purpose of making money.

the kids should say "f*ck your shit, loser!" why they don't is the problem.
when i see school kids smoking cigarettes, i see the same scenario as you outline.
their friend gives them the first cigarette. why does this seem more acceptable somehow?

If drugs are ever legalised I think people will still buy them from dealers cause the government will be looking for a really expensive price for them an they would probably get them cheaper from dealers. Like look at cigarettes for sale in shops there like 9 euro and a lot of people don't buy them in the shops and they get the fake cheaper brand lol we are all cheapskates at heart haha

So drug dealers will be here till the end of time.

Anyway drink is the worst drug out there.

    Peace out fuckers

IMO the Drug War has been lost -- a long time ago. And look at how well our Prohibition worked : drunks and laypeople drank

nonetheless , and we managed to cultivate a criminal element which we didn't have before : Capone etc.

Same with drugs. I think the power of illicit profits need to be taken out of the hands of opportunistic criminals , and the

industry be made transparent : quality controlled , govt gaining tax revenue , addicts receiving reliable product (fewer overdoses),

revenue gained thus could be put towards preventative education, rehabilitation programs , etc .

Instead of penalising the user and turning ill people into criminals and filling our jails with small time players, resources

could be used to combat organised crime and pressing health issues associated with drug use (do needle exchange programs etc.) .

    BUT !

Those who break the law today, to financially benefit from committing a crime (dealers, mules, etc.) in my opinion deserve the

    full weight of the law.
An excellent analysis. I couldn't have put it better myself, Stephanie. Brava, brava!
