At this rate they are going to end Coronation Street! How many more allegations can that show take. You would expect it from Dirty Den off Eastenders but not Kenneth surely. Betty Turpin would turn in her grave if she knew!

Betty Driver was a lovely woman in real life,she should have clocked Ken with one of her hot pot's.

I always liked the character ken Barlow, he was a man who never achieved what he should have, remaining living on the street where he was born. In the first episode in 1960, ken sticks out as the university boy on a working class street where he is kind of looked down on as he has notions. He is a kind of a loser, one of his wives died, electrocuted while drying her hair in the bath.

The rivilary with mike Baldwin was quite dramatic.

But bill roach the man is a bit of an odd ball, he looks twenty years younger than his age, 81, and what a fine head of hair he has

1967 is a long time ago. I don't think there is anything to be done now, unless they have a video of it or stored the evidence in a safe facility and decided to wait until now to do something about it.

Many abuse cases in this country have gone back many many years! Getting evidence could be the difficult part!
