    was a big hit in my house, but my family are all about music

    also only having 2 channels till tg4 came, making it 3

    thankfully we got sky in 2005

    tv3 never made it to us by signal weirdly,

    but id still watch it not with the same excitment tho
    now i tend to watch it in a gay bar, for a eurovision party, the gay men know how do a good one!

    I'm going to be watching it for the same reason that saoirsemac will - it's a bit of a tradition.

    I grew up watching it, and it's still a big talking point when I visit my family. I don't watch it as religiously as I used to, I tend to just catch the voting as redforever does, but I still know who the main entrants are (and I still have favourites... I know... shame on me)

    I may watch it this year, two years ago I was watching it with my friends and we had a little party were we would taste different food from Countries participating in contest. Great fun !

    That is what my friends have done before. Asked everyone to bring some food to represent a country, such as tea for UK or frogs legs for France... one of them didn't seem to get the picture, as she brought there:

    Yeah tradition has a lot to do with it as well as you Lara i grew up watching it and feel that if i don't watch at least some of it that i've missed out on something

    its more the highlights id watch if at home

    in a bar, esp a gay one, its on full blast all night, with everyone dancing, mixes of people form the different countries

    paint ur flag on ur face in an eurovision heart, it is tradition ur right,

    im not overly reiligous, but i still bless myself passing graveyards, old habbits
