My feeling is you tip the servant not the boss. As I visit independant escorts I don't think tipping is appropriate, whatever cash I have to spare, I spend on time, if I like the service I'll plan a return visit. If there was a maid I would feel obliged to tip her, just like you tip the waitress but not the chef. I have occasionaly brought a small gift, on a repeat visit however.
