I see a greater number of escorts are accepting payment by credit card now, not a good way to pay IMHO. Who knows where your details and money might end up, or am I wrong in my thinking ?

I think you're correct to be concerned about your details. But many escorts will use a payment solution so basically use a third party to take the payment which is then transferred to the escort. So you don't see her details and she wont see yours.

Another way to think about it: If the legislation is changed and clients are to be criminalised, it's a very clever way to get around that. If the Guards raid the apartment and there's no money there, how can they charge you the client with paying for time and companionship?

It can be done either way. Either paying online so you pay before you get there, or you can bring your card and the Escort will have a card reader.

I suppose an escort who's dealing with her regular clients could use paypal as it's unlikely either party will tell paypal that the payment is for adult services.

Other ways to pay: adultwork credits. The site takes a high percentage if the escort wants to cash in her credits so I'm not sure if ladies would be happy accepting the entire payment this way.

UKash is also another way to pay, we can pay for our adverts here this way and it's anonymous. You just buy a voucher from the shop for the desired amount and away you go. For some reason there's a high % for processing these payments, 15% actually. So again, not sure if other Escorts would be happy with this and if they'd pass on the fee to their clients ie: you pay 15% more.

Before reacting, bear in mind that it's you the client who'll be criminalised if you're caught paying for sex if the legislation passes so before bitching and moaning about the extra fee - it's worth it if it's your 'Get Out Of Jail Free' card

Paypal charges are much too high to deal with on a long term basis ,having sold items on Ebay and got paid by Paypal ( I dont think there are any other options with Eaby ) I then had to pay very costs to transfer money into a bank account ,fee was a % of money transfered,so if you dont have any body looking at your accounts except yourself them debit/credit cards are ideal

It works well for me in England, my gents there pay in advance Clients in ireland seem to really ruin things for themselves by gossiping though. If nothing else, if criminalisation of clients does happen, maybe that'll teach people to keep private business private!

If I might pose the question, since you appear to know quite A LOT MORE ABOUT than myself:

If I paid for an appointment with a credit/debit card, assuming the lady has the necessary card-reader for the transaction, then how doe the 'service' which we purchased appear on our bills/statements? Would my statement say I invested a bit of money into 'AlexCorp Ltd'?

The most important question now is are Escorts who take credit card payments are they conforming to the new SEPA regulations?

I think it's also important to say that you can't be a chancer and turn up with a credit card thinking there would be a delay in payment etc, like cancelling a transaction after 30mins or cancelling the card before a payment goes through, not that I have tried and tested all these mechanics of course!!
