    Default Wi Fi.

    Was in a hotel last nite with wi fi but needed a password to get it. . . Would they give it to me if i had asked? The same with pubs.

    Yes, never had a problem, as long as you buy a pint, are a guest etc.
    Some places may limit time to 1/2 hr etc. are you being serious WWW? You running a temperature?

    Yes for sure any hotel I have stayed in (and thats a lot) always free wifi till check out , you should have asked hun xx
    Some people have to have the last word,
    but they don't actually want you to stop talking,
    as they like the sound of their own voices too much.

    Depends where you are, in the UK in the cheap hotels such as Holiday Inns and Travelodges it's common to charge for Wifi.

    no i wasn't staying there. She wanted me to take her somewhere nice. So i took her there to watch posh people eating.

    In my experience, most hotels will give free wifi access even if you only walk in off the street and order a coffee. Though one place I frequent, will direct you to certain seats that have wired access, they will loan you a lead if necessary.
