Escorting may not legalised but I do think that the Irish government should take a realistic look at how much this industry contributes to the Irish economy. Take a look around, thousands of apartments up for rent, this number will rise if we are forced to stop working here. Yet more landlords lumbered with mortages on property that they have to pay out for. We work 12 months of the year, we stay & provide business for struggling hotels year round, even when the tourists have left. How much we spend on a weekly basis when we're working here. Take the sex industry out of Ireland & you will see the economy of this country go further into recession. Where will Rhumna be to answer the questions of those whose businesses are affected?
Whether or not the government want to admit it, the sex industry does contribute heavily to the economy.
