On a thread I'm not going to draw further attention to, I made some snide, uncalled for and unwarranted comments that I should not have done.
Your dignified response says alot about you (ie. you are a lady and I'm, well, fill in the blank ).
Would like to offer an unreserved, complete apology.
Hope you accept, but totally understand if you decline.
Sorry, to post this publicly but made my comments publicly and want to publicly acknowledge I was being a pr**k. A pm seems insufficient.

I saw that post, HD, and was surprised, as it wasn't necessary or appropriate to the thread, but Anna's reply was a model of control, and good manners. The lady has class and learnt a lot over the years about the right way to reply to such comments.
I think a public apology will be appreciated by Anna, as she is a fair minded lady.
