This is with immediate effect, we decided to do it a while back, but IT have put the change through today. We do also have changes in the pipeline to tighten up photo verification, but they will have nothing to do with a lady accepting reviews.

My understanding of the rationale behind this change was that there will be no photo verification needed as clients can report fake pictures now. Why the need for EI to know, what do we look like?

No their will still be photo verification, it is just not a requirement that ladies accept reviews in order to have their photos verified anymore.

Only reason for asking for verification photo is so staff can decide to verify photos as genuine or not.

I think this is very fair Patricia. Thanks. I appreciate there are ladies who do not want to be reviewed but have genuine photos - and that is their right. So it is most timely that E-I has changed the rules back to the original.

However, on a personal level I will still only be seeing ladies who allow reviews and have verified photos. To me the review system is the single most important measure in helping me to choose who to see. The verified photos are actually less important to me given the advances in photoshop etc.

Will EI staff accept as true a report in a review that it wasn't the girl in the photos? Seems to be open to abuse by vindictive punters, there. The punter can't after all prove by reference to other websites where the photo came from.

This change may not matter to us members, but it will matter big time to the casual client that is oblivious to the existence of these boards. To see a big green tick on a profile will give the impression that this escort is kosher and endorsed by the site, and I fear many will be duped as a result. It will not matter a fiddlers fart to me, as I and you are clued in, but the average Joe will not know the risks of visiting a so called “verified” escort.

I wonder what the true motives are. It is certainly not to the benefit of the client. But it will certainly encourage more escorts perhaps dubious escorts to advertise, knowing that they will possibly increase business with that nice green endorsement… hence increasing revenue for the site.

It may also help those escorts with a string of bad reviews to reinvent themselves and make a new start with a lovely “verified” status…To remove the controls of reviewing is disastrous to the punter imo… There will be sizeable more abuse than there is already…
