I think sex and our sexual interests change.
I go through stages where something inparticular really turns me on more than anything else. Then I seem to grow out of it or grow away from it. (I get bored very quickly and I guess I have spent a lot of years looking for bigger and better turn ons.) It might be replaced with something new immediately or there may be a lapse before the next big thing. I tend not to go back to something which I've left behind.
