I must be missing something because she says she made equal pay and more than men in some of her jobs, so is she really saying women have to be porn stars to earn equal pay. I don't think so

The message seems to be a bit confusing, but the underlying thrust of the ad still holds weight. I've read elsewhere that the sex industry (that being everything from strippers and nude models to escorts and porn actresses) is the only list of professions where women typically earn MORE than men

Maybe the fact that Sasha was saying there that she had other, 'normal' jobs previous to getting into the porn business and emphasising that she had EQUAL pay in doing them is part of the point, in that there are 'normal' jobs out there and employers who will/do pay equally, regardless of what sex you are.

And one more thing-- the end of the message does note as I've said above that the sex industry is the only business where usually women earn more than men; maybe she's also promoting EQUAL PAY FOR THE MEN IN THE SEX INDUSTRY!!! I can get behind that idea! Equal pay for male porn actors!!!

No Cable, I think Sasha's other normal jobs - secretary, waitress, nurse, where she says she got paid more than men - were her roles in porn, not in the real world.

Anna dearest, I don't think the main point of the video bypassed most of us. It's just that salary and pay are highly emotive and controversial issues.

Statistics suggest that men are more highly paid in most fields - but that isn't my personal experience. It my field we are all paid the same, and women outnumber the men.

I feel the heterosexual male is an endangered species what with political correctness and affirmative action . In 100 years years I reckon there will just be women and gay men around! So I am going to hang on to every last bit of my salary while it lasts!
