Waterford arrests

Three people arrested in Waterford City as part of investigation into prostitution.

As part of an ongoing investigation into organised prostitution in the South East Region, Waterford Gardai have arrested three people. All three, two females aged 23 and 29, and a 37 year old man were detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. They were operating from a premises in the city centre.They have now been released and a file is being prepared for the DPP. All three are of Romanian Nationality. Gardai say their investigations are ongoing.
