    Wasps.

I know most people don't *like* wasps, but I hate / fear them with a passion. When I was a young lad they built a nest in the air vent of my bedroom one summer. One day towards the end of the summer when they were dying I was studying at my desk. I felt something land on my head, like it had fallen from the ceiling or light shade above me. Instinctively I brushed it off - and it fell down my school uniform shirt collar to get stuck there between my shirt and my back, stinging me repeatedly all over my back before I could wrench off my clothes

Not a phobia as such but definitely makes me feel weird.
Most words, written or spoken, relating to ships and sailing, galley, yardarm, gangplank etc ..the word 'nautical' makes me feel positively sick! I feel queasy even writing them. Some images too. Clothing related to sailing is disgusting! Windcheater! FFS! It's horrible.

'koff Sam. Another term I can't stand, unrelated...but:

Cold Snap!!!! I avoid weather reports in the winter in case they say it!

I am off to find out why we have reactions to certain words.
