That is sad. I used to love watching them on a Saturday. It is a worry, when everyone you remember from your dark and distant childhood starts to pop their clogs.
Actually met him a good few years back at a show, he was a nice guy, chatted for a good while. The music is still as good today as it was then, so that says it all. I use to love that programme on a Saturday morning, and the innocence of it all. Just a gang of guys doing what most young guys did back in the sixties/early seventies, hung around chatting, ogling girls and been awkward around them, as I said the innocence. Sad, may he rest in peace.
