So..the dust has settled and we all have had time to pick the fluff out of our navels and have a lovely weekend. EI, it would seem, is slowly retuning to normal. So, I picked my moment wisely

We have lost one of our main warning thread contributors in this contretemps, Monster Monster. I feel we should discuss this somewhat, as today reading through his final discussions with Sam, I realised something. It was kind of..unfair. Not only was he accused of something, he was then banned for protesting too much when he..protested. This resulted in a war of words that should have been avoided. He did not break a rule. He did not send a link to anyone who did not request one and the link he did send was publicly available. He couldnt be accused of bringing a company into disrepute. He merely go into an argument with a Manager. A permanent ban seems undeserved, for the accusations levelled.

So, I was wondering..in the spirit of acceptance and forgiveness that is surely present now, could we possibly petiton for a small reduction in this ban? Say...the month that is normal? Monster Monster helped weed out fake profiles, put hours of work in to trying to make clients lives slightly easier and also added interest to the site. You need fruit and nuts to make a cake

Here here. Monster is a valuable poster, the very nature of which might ruffle a few feathers....but a ban...a kneejerk reaction

Couldn't agree more Lucy, the ban was in my opinion excessive. I believe that a little rethink might just allow us all to move on together and help make some of the improvements that have been suggested. I realise this might be seen as creating a precedent but Sam has more or less admitted he didn't break any rules so wouldn't be precedent setting.

it was unfair, and not right to ban him permently, a temp ban maybe if the claims he broke the rules where true, but i cant see how sending an article form the indo is a bannable offence really,

i personaly dnt like to see links to articles in general in which girls have been exposed by some wanker journo making up a story thats unfair and monster monster wud not send anyone those links

I wont pretend to know the reason for his ban and have no interest in finding out but I do totally agree with you Lucy about the good work and hours and hours Monster must have spent tracking down fakes amongst the escorts, I do hope there is some degree of relaxiation in his ban but its up to the powers that be to decide.

When a user is banned and a manager says it's because they broke the rules ..... Everyone generally accepts it!!! The truth is there is alot more going on and most times the reason given is bullshit.... But since the banned user isn't around to voice their side? Management get away with the banning bullshit time n time again

Jesus. Troll school for Wildthang.

In any case, it doesnt matter what happened before. Exceptions have been made and if a mistake was made in this issue it is always nice to have a time to rectify it
