I am referring to an escort that was banned from here recently, whom you regarded as 'true' independent and refused to believe that she wasn't anything more than misunderstood.

Doodles, I am saying that punters should report suspicious things to the Gardai. No undertone intended, but in this industry everyone should do their bit, not diffuse the responsibility on one company. After all, we have seen reviews when clients state the girl looked too young to work as an escort, then went into details of the rest of the appointment (and we do request age checks), punters write 'might be trafficked' or 'definitely pimped' and still proceed with the appointment. Punters are quick to report suspicious activity on an open forum but won't make a phone call to the authorities.

The appointment is between client and escort, so I do think that some responsibility falls on the shoulders of the client also.

well it is easily found, all you have to do is google a few names with this site and the article comes up. Seeing as some of those were just mentioned (last weekend) in a sunday paper managed to get me doing some reading

I know only too well that you should never believe everything you read, but seeing as the Irish Independent was reporting from a court case which stated a PIMP had admin access to this site when cops arrested him, to me is a bit alarming and ties you in quite closely with that sort of thing. I'm sure if it wasn't true you could always get a solicitor to make them delete the article and apologize

Well a solicitor can't deleted a printed article can they? If a pimp had access to the admin section and it was broadcasted, do you really think they would have access now anyway? That would be silly!

I know that this isn't something that has suddenly been of interest to you either. Your account has passed those links around before, that I do know, but it is something in the public domain and the site is still running, so it can't have been as bad as you might make out, especially if it has been put to the test of the legal system.

Well, if you have information that suggests she is not 'independent', why is she still allowed to advertise as such?
Btw, I never said she was misunderstood, but I have met the lady several times since her ban, not as a client,
and still believe that she is independent. If every escort that worked in tandem with other escorts was not
considered a 'true' independent, there would be a hell of a lot less independent ladies here.

We did establish when we discussed the Gold Advertising status that it's impossible to find a criteria for 'true' independent, especially when a large portion of beginning escorts start off as agency to find their feet anyway. Perhaps if there was less stigma with agencies in Ireland and less people tarring escorts with the pimped and trafficked brush, more of them would more than likely advertise as agency so it would be clearer. This will never happen in Ireland though.

Hi. I don't mean to sound uppity but this is a pretty big deal. It isnt same old same old, it effects the escorts too. It effects everything. I dont think this will come full circle alone, there needs to be some discussion.
