I liked it, but I was expecting a bit more.
I think there was too much hype about it.

Thanks Jessica. I really enjoyed the film. A good old fashioned, low budget, no frills film, that has to rely on acting to sell tickets! And Brendan Gleeson is fantastic as Sergeant Gerry Boyle!

One of my favourite scenes is when he arranges an outcall with two lovely young Irish escorts! The scene where the two lassies stepped off the train dressed like ban gardai but with micro skirts and sheer stockings is embedded in my brain!!

The two Irish ladies worked for "The agency". I'd say the director knew a thing or more about the industry in Ireland!

Ironically Brendan Gleeson's son is starring in another new Irish film called "Sensation" - where he is a farm boy who goes to see an English touring escort and ends up falling in love with her and becoming a pimp! Or so I gather from the trailer.

Let me stop you right there. Yes this is just superb acting just amazing and pigs can fly.
