With the pending passing of the ACTA (SOPA Ireland) and the granting of new laws to copyright holders, namely the ability to have a website blocked from a country for copyright infringement without due process. Does this mean that E-I will have to become a lot more vigilant on what images they allow on their site.

No more will the excuse of being a directory be acceptable, from now on E-I will have to be 100% sure that the profile pics they allow on their site are the legal property of their advertisers as E-I will be liable not just the advertiser. If the government want they can get all Irish IPS's to block access to E-I if the actual copyright holder complains.
