I was used Avast free version and now i use Advanced SystemCare4 free version and no problem.

Haha! I did laugh reading this, but I think you're spot on! It depends on the needs of the individual. I use AVG on my personal laptop and I've never had a problem, but then again, I don't use it to download anything I shouldn't, nor do I watch porn on it!

Was thinking the same. My wife got trojans from downloading (non-pornographic) film clips even with the uprated AVG being on the computer. Once they were on it started a whole cascade. When I took it to my computer guy he found a whole lot more.
In his opinion AVG wasn't good and as I said before recommended Bullguard which in a year has worked fine.

well im on mcfee and let me tell you i download a shitload of movies lol and not 1 problem ever

i have been using me laptop for a year and my internet secruity ran out and i cudnt be arsed buying a new 1 and id say i downloaded about 70 movies without any protection and nothing happened, but i just bought it just incase, they all work anyway

go for the cheap ones

they all do the same job and scan the computer! its all just a big money raquet

AVG was approx £30 a year and just updated Bullguard and it was £28 for the year.
