Can you access any pages? e.g. bbc sport....not that you'd want to!

If not check your internet connection is up

i cant access ei using Internet explorer, using opera at the moment.

Working on Firefox too.....surprised that browsers would cause it but must be the case! :-o

If not, restart laptop, check....then restart router! Also check wired connection....or if wireless, check wireless is turned on (usually a button on the laptop)...I often knock mine off by mistake! :-o

I had the same problem up until a while ago. It is a DNS problem. I changed my DNS server addresses to the Google Public DNS server addresses (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and I can now access EI from Chrome and other browsers. There are instructions on the link below:
http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/

It worked for me anywho.

I couldn't get on all night either. I use firefox usually and it doesn't work. It works with opera for me now. I'll report this for techs to look into.

My advice is turn out off then back on.
If that doesn't work, I normally try punching it.
