Howya or Howeryeh can mean both, ie Hello or How are You (vodafone speak).

    But

In context to someone, he/she was a total howyeh, means of a lower class, from a working class area in dublin (I'm not trying to offend anyone here) also it can refer to someone with a thick dublin accent generally found to be wearing a grey nike tracksuit, white nike trainers, lots of rings a gold chain (thick) and a baseball cap driving a scoobie (subaru impreza) or glanza with the seat reclined at a 60 degree angle.

The correct way to spell it AND pronounce it Naomi is "howyeh", practice it and you'll have it in no time hun!! Miss you too by the way xx

Taylor the lad who said he took some "yokes" was referring to drugs, ie Ectasy / E's and saying he was grand now meant he was quite content and happy.
"Your man" is any gentleman who's name might escape you or be unknown to you.

    Hope this helped ladies!!
