omg this has blown out of all proportion and seeing as i was the escort who replied to the post originally thought i should respond. i have no idea where the stalking bit is coming from, i never said anything of the sort in my reply. what i was upset about at the time was the generalisation of how women dress and just assuming they were an escort. lots of girls dress that way nowadays, nightclubs are full of scantily clad women who are not escorts and women should feel free to dress how they want. i bet there are men and women on this site who have daughters who may dress like that and would be horrified for someone to think that she looks like a particular escort on a site because she is wearing shoes which are distinctive but usually mass produced. i must have not been the only one offended at the time seeing how this has gone on, but you have apologised and that should be the end of the matter for us all.

Normally I wouldn't be sticking my nose into a thread that apologises for another thread that there was nothing wrong with, but since it's a long standing boards member of good repute in question here I'm going to make an exception.

I read the original thread and can only vaguely remember the gist of it. What that says to me is that the thread was forgettable ..... sorry Forrest, no offence meant by that comment but I'm just trying to illustrate how routine and non-offensive the thread was. And if someone takes it in a manner other than how you meant it then that's their problem, not yours. I wouldn't be one for bending to the bully wishes of others when it comes to expressing an opinion, reporting an observation or giving an angle on something. In a word - fuckem.

I don't think you should have requested the deletion of your thread Forrest. But what matters is your own peace of mind and if that's what gives it to you then so be it.

In this instance, I think I was entitled to know what the perceived view of my thread was, from behind the scenes.

It gave me an opportunity to try to correct that perception, by making a public apology for any offence I may have caused to escorts.

This whole thread is absolutely ridiculous. There are so many things being twisted out of context and speculated to a degree of pathetic and confusing.

Nicole and I have been looking into this and we are asking people questions.

The reason I have quoted this thread is for clarity, so nobody is confused...

E-I did not give any details from the private forum. We did however inform Forrest that several escorts perceived this deleted thread to be a little 'stalker-ish' so we feel that it was right to be removed. Doozer removed this thread the night before Forrest was contacted by us, also informing Forrest that someone reported it because they weren't happy about it.

Doozer exchanged PM's with an escort in relation to this. One of the points made by Doozer was that Forrest was aware of the reasons behind the problems of this thread, because an escort PM'd him; nothing more.

Looking at the whole thing, this could have meant that Forrest had a PM debate with an escort regarding this silly situation. It does not mean that an escort disclosed any information to a client. The real trouble is coming from the people that are speculating and twisting things out of context, which this thread absolutely epitomises.

Now, Nicole and I will continue to look into this, but this debate will need to end now before it becomes even more ridiculous and stupid. If anyone has any concerns, you may PM me or Nicole. If anyone decides to start another thread to try and continue this debate (even in it's most subtle form), they will be infracted for posting with the intent to cause trouble.

After hearing back from Forrest, I would like to say that he did not have any PM conversation with an escort regarding this.

Just to add, we do not think that Forrest intended to be malice or have any ill intention, nor do we think he is a stalker. He is a respected, long-term poster and it would be a great shame for stupid, idle gossip to ruin a good poster's reputation. There are too many people trying to plant the seeds of suggestion on these message boards and this also needs to stop. It always badly backfires.
