I didn't say mods all follow the same hymn sheet. Of course it's like before people have different views and it gets debated. Like the good old days we get there in the end. Carlos you read too much into everything What's wrong with promoting those sites. E-S, E-E are all part of E-I after all.

In principle Brother Highway there is nothing wrong with promoting sites that earn their revenue from advertising prostitution services........if that's what you're into, and as we all know, it's quite legal in the UK. Now I just don't happen to see how this fits into the function of a volunteer site helper, be it as a community moderator or a reviews moderator or as the competition czar.

Here's what the rules for this forum state about Community Moderators:

I see nothing about promoting any activities of this or of any other sites or starting threads in places like Sweden to encourage increased site traffick, increased escort usage and ultimately increased advertising revenue. That does'nt fall within moderating a community forum. You're either volunteer site helpers drawn from amongst the community.........or you're part of the system.

You know what Heather? He just annoys me. First of all, the reasoning behind the closing of the thread, first off, I didnt not close it, nor do I know the exact details of why it was closed, but I work very close to Nicole and Sam and by the looks of it, whats happened is, Carlos has given his opinion and suggested something. Now what he suggested, we are not planning on entertaining at all. This is just not something we would do. As for the full explanation Carlos, I think you will need to PM a manager.

I'm just curious why certain escorts were allowed to be down right rude to another poster no matter what his point is and yet he is the only one singled out for a quiet warning, even make unsubstantiated remarks without the need for proof, would we be allowed make such comments about them? I like most on here but it would seem a few ladies are allowed over step the mark, especially when it would seem to be a popular stance or the poster isn't doing themselves any favours and yet if one of us was to speak to an escort like they speak to certain posters there would be uproar..
Don't get me wrong, there contribution to the boards is most welcome but a bit too bitchy and a little too much mud slinging hopeing some will stick for my liking..

There is a lot of argueing on this thread about the closing of threads, I think you should all know by know, I try not to close a thread until there is no other path for me to take, sometimes posters dont make it easy for us, we allow certain threads to continue with a simple warning post, then posters get snidey towards us and continue anyway. This is not going to be allowed. I can understand why you would get a bit frustrated about these things, sometimes posters, get themselves in these situations by responding to the 'abuse' rather than straight out reporting it. This leaves us in a difficult position. Just stick with me here for a second. When a poster has abuse hailed at him, or he is ganged up on, he takes it upon himself to go all vigilanti (not all the time mind you) and begins with a rebuttle towards certain escorts. Whereas when an escort feels she is being abused, they would in the main, report it, we deal with it and the poster is normally sent a friendly warning by a mod or manager. All I can say is, learn to use the system to your advantage. Anon feel free to PM me, with any specific events.

as a relative newbie, i sense a mod + escort V's Clients thing going on ! i think there is a slight bias towards the girls, and if the punters dont agree, the mods and ladies 'gang' up on em. Certain people seem to spend more time on here being condecending to other people and declaring their infallability on everything than working.

You are relatively new, as a new member of the boards, I'd really like you to PM me specifically and let me know where this MOD + Escort vs. client 'thing' is happening. There is no bias towards anyone from me, I am very impartial as I think most will find. There are those on the other hand that feel hard done by, and thats there perrogative. You are right, some people do come on here to be condescending, and if I were you, or any other poster, why would you want to reply to these people...surely you would just avoid them on the boards and have fun, lighthearted fun and topical debates...what the boards are for.


If you wish to avoid someone, for those who do not know yet, add them to your ignore list. Very simple and it saves an awfull lot of hassle.
