    Default England

I was never in England but if I wanted to travel which would be the best city to spend a weekend?

Go to Bath Lucy. It's a beautiful city steeped in history and easy to navigate around. Fly to Bristol & you
can get a train to Bath from the centre (about a 25 minute journey.)

For scenery: Cumbria (Lake District), Warwick, Castleton (Peak District), Perrinporth (Cornwall)
For music and culture: Liverpool, Manchester, London
For history: Any town or city ending in -chester or -castor; these are Roman towns and cities
Theme Parks: Chessington, Chessington World of Adventure; Stoke-on-Trent, Alton Towers; Chorley, Lancashire - Camelot
    Markets: Bury, Lancashire; Weymouth/Bournemouth, Dorset

There's something for everyone out there. Just avoid Burnley in Lancashire at all costs.

I like Bath too. St Ives and Oxford are also very beautiful.

Im sending a link to this to Burnley Town Council, expect a picket

Its true though, infact, avoid Burnley, Bury Bolton and Blackpool. Might as well just say Lancashire really

A picket? I'd expect a mob of pitch-forks and nooses!

I was in Burnley for the first time a few weeks ago, to see a pilot screening (which was shite by the way). It didn't look too bad a town. but it was dark...and raining...and i was in the car... and I went straight to my destination.

Don't forget York. York is good to visit.
