    i cudnt stop myself , i smashed the tv, i put me fist through the wooden wall, i picked up a chair and smashed it off the floor, i picked up the other chair and threw it at your lad but it missed and smashed off the wall, so then i ran over to him, it took 3 people to stop me and thank god that they did stop me cause i dont what i wud of done to him!!

    i had to go outside then to get some fresh air and clear me head!!

    im not a voilent person i consider myself the quiet type i always keep to myself, i took a lot of shit in my life and it only took 1 person to spark it all off, i suppose it has been all building up in me over the years and just waiting to come out, it happened so fast, i felt so good smashing stuff at the time that i cudnt stop, but im thinking to myself now why and what the fuck just happened!

It will make you stop thinking about negative things.

    Mer hunny, it's not their fault they prefer margarine......

    I used to get angry about things but would let them slide until I'd end up completely losing it over something really petty and end up looking a right tw@. So after a particularly big kick off I was so ashamed of how I behaved that I decided to change and went to Anger management. I'm not ashamed to admit it, I'm a much nicer person because of it.

    One of the things I realised was that even if I was 100% completely right about something - well the way I handled the situation made me lose the point and whatever I had to say didn't matter to anyone. All they saw was this loonatic shouting and bawling. Instead of addressing things before they got too big, I'd wait and then BANG! Complete and utter devastation.

    People have suggested an outlet for your anger which does help loads but trying to see things slightly differently helps too. We can't control other peoples' behaviour so if someone is being a nob, instead of smashing the place up just tell them that you're not interested in their crap. It's surprising the response you get.

    Hope you're taking responsibility and paying for the things you broke. You have no right to smash other peoples stuff. My temper cost me a small bloody fortune which was a huge motivation to be calm

  8. Default When should you get angry ?

    * * *
    Aristotle said-

    “Anyone can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person at the right time, and for the right purpose and in the right way - that is not within everyone's power and that is not easy.”

    Easier said than done.....

    There is nobody that from time to time does not just go a bit crazy, sometimes its not the big things but just a build up of stress over a prolonged time and I think we all have a built in stress release reaction were we act totally out of character as long as nobody got hurt thats the important thing.

    Mer... Ever stop to think that maybe all that butter has gotten to your head? It happens to everyone mate, in some shape size or form. Even happens to LDM. No furniture or electronics ever get broken... Usually I'm the only casualty. LDM's fists vs concrete wall. Wall wins, 1 hit KO!
