Do you tend to stop working coming up to christmas,like would there be a cut of date for the last punt before jingle bells and all the ballacks.Just wondered as i have only been punting the last 10 months and would like to know

I'm the kind of person that doesn't "do" Christmas. I see it as every other day and am happy when it is over.

Last year I spent it drunk on a beach in Thailand doing Yoga and the 2 years before that I worked all day. Charging time and a half and getting lots of gifts.

This year is going to be my first "proper" Christmas and I'm kinda excited. Scrooge is no more lol.

putting up the tree, buying pressies i turn my apartment into santa grotto every year form the 1st december
with xmas songs on full blast

i start baking like betty croker on acid and give clients cookies and shit
spread the chirstmas spirt

but form the 23rd till 2nd jan i will be with my family doting over my nieces and nephews in pjs and fluffy slippers
no make up bliss
eating far too much and drinkng lots of baileys on ice

When I say my first proper Christmas I don't mean all trees and stuff. More the only time I've actually even bothered to recognise it's existence I'm not really a big family orientated kinda gal so it doesn't really mean much to me is all.

I think it is a rather nice thing to work on Christmas day although some may find the though horrifying! Bringing happiness and comfort to those that may be alone. I tried to volunteer last year but was told they were over subscribed! So I popped on a plane and had a 3 month holiday

Last year i spent 2 days in the kitchen preparing christmas dinner for everyone. At end of it i could i not face eating a plate of food.

So this year, i'll be working till the 16th and then hop on plane for a 10 day break in the sun. Another year stuffing the Turkey... i don't think so.

You either love it or hate it--- there is very little middle ground. A lot of people would love to jet off and miss the thing completely. It is a time when everyone is expected to love spending time with their extended family and very often thats not the case ! Personally , I'm a big Christmas fan !
