I wrote this in response to the first two posters, but am only able to post it now.. Busy
Thank you both for posting, and I very much appreciate the contributions on the now locked "SHAME ON US" thread as well.
Public supporters have been few and far between, though I have been receiving "chin-up" PMs for the past 5/6 days...
I have to say I take exception to the past days's events being charcterised as "catfight" , bitchfest, etc.
I have not fought here. Never had a chance. Nor am I inclined to fight. I walk away -- usually..
Though the focus seems to have shifted to the Hobbyist now, there are still accusations and innuendo
directed at me, which remains unresolved. "If the rumors prove to be true, you are in a big mess" ..
The issue between Amber and myself (which I knew nothing about until Amber PMd me and posted on the boards),
and which it seems was the result of malicious manipulation from a third party has been put to bed to my satisfaction.
I will say it again, I knew nothing about it until Amber came forth.. and thank you Girl for posting . Hug xx.
In the meantime, Orla posted an apology to me on a thread, and I very much appreciate it.
I will say again, I never mocked or made fun of her dyslexia.
(If I am mistaken, please quote me. As I said before, make me eat crow, I will bow and apologise).
Orla and I have very different posting styles and that is that. If she will endure mine, I will endure hers
I only ask that differences in our opinions not become personal. I will hold myself to that as best as I can..

And once again, thank you Orla for your apology. I am beginning to think that you yourself have
just been caught up in this mess almost as much as myself. Who knows, one day we may even have a drink together.

So that leaves one participant left. I was promised a PM from Ms Chambers two days ago, explaining the further
rumors that are supposed to be out there about me. I am still waiting.. I still do not know what I am accused of..
BUT,
it HAS been brought to my attention that there are questions re my nationality and age.
I was told that the same person who spread malice about me re Amber, has been telling people in the
chatroom and by PM that I am Hungarian.. Not that it's anybody's business, but
Yes I do own property in Hungary. A nice, large spread. I even speak the language.
I also happen to own property in Spain, and I do speak a bit of Spanish. Does that make me Spanish ??
If I am pressed and have a cookbook handy, I am sure I could pull off a mean Hungarian Goulash
If anyone followed my car buying adventure will be aware, at the moment my car sits in the garage because I
cannot get it insured with my American Driver's license.. Not that my wealth or nationality is anybody's business,
but I rather put it forth than wait and have it thrown at me as an accusation..

I admit, I am less than truthful on my profile page..
For the purposes of advertising I shall remain 38 for the foreseeable future, but SHHH I am really 62.. !!!
