How can we reasonably vote for or against something when the criteria is not set yet...

As I said before, I am not against it, but need to know how it would work before voting on it..

Lol I was just thinking the same thing. I think the idea has potential, but unless it's done properly I don't think it should be done at all. I mean, Sam started a thread last week about some escort(s) trying to cheat the EOTM competition, so presumably escorts will use similar tactics to gain "gold" status if it means getting one-up on the rest. I can't see how an automated system could be devised which wouldn't be susceptible to underhanded tactics.

The poll question is "Do you like the idea of a 'Gold Advertising' status", so the floor is

open to see if people think it would be of benefit to escorts and clients alike.

I think the final criteria should be agreed by the escorts before any such system is implemented.

I have my reservations, (as Sitting Bull said to the Cavalry), Stephanie has already outlined most of them. I feel it will become a self fulfilling prophecy and will end up creating difficulties. If a girl is new then she immediately is at a disadvantage as she will fail on the longevity criteria, so potential clients may ignore her more...therefore she will start failing in other criteria as less clients might mean less reviews etc etc, and so the cycle would go on. I don't think it is fair to leave the site open to this sort of imbalance. I do however think that there should be some reward for genuine profiles etc.

Would be interested to see what other girls think of the proposal.

Nicole, Patricia and I all agree that the one of the main criteria should definately involve rewarding escorts that do not change their profiles and stick to one profile over a long period of time, and do not have a history of using fake photographs.

What additional benefit do you for this system considering you already have review system in place? If you ask me, a small mark on thumbnail which shows if pics are verified and another small one says that lady allows review would be more beneficial.

I have a feeling this system is discrimination against new ladies, specially ones who do not post here. Also, this has potential to discriminate against touring escorts

I agree with the idea in principle but I think that some of the girls would such an advantage over new comers that a monopoly would start to emerge.

The women who get consistently good reviews should get some sort of recognition wether they are using the site for a year or only a few months. Plus women who frequently use the forums should get a mention too, its a great way to find someone u may no have come across otherwise. Only been using this properly for a few days now and im getting addicted!!

there is a lot of very valid points on this one,and i think every single angle must be inspected to the fullest..the loyalty thing may not work..the gold silver bronse sounds good to an extent.its a hard one,but one which must not be rushed ...the mods need to find every single scam,i mean every last one which could be pulled to fiddle with this and adjust accordingly ,and then,and only then could said plan work.

It wouldn't be based on posting. With most companies, they offer benefits to loyal customers; I don't see thus as a way of discriminating anyone as we are trying to make the criteria fair so that everyone has the same chance to achieve it. If anything, it would reward escorts for not constantly switching profiles, giving more of an incentive to those that do.

The public tend to spot things fairly quickly, and usually when we take action, they tend to switch profiles, thus preventing them from ever being eligible anyway.
