Irish defy Einstiens theory of time

Now, I don't want to be bashing the country I live in, I really do like living here but....do the Irish have a problem with time ? Is it all relative to them ?
Last two days I've been trying to co-ordinate a project for work, one that pays in real money.One person told me "be there in 15", turns up 1 hr later. Another turns up three hours later than expected and another turns up when its nearly dark ! Certainly not the first time its happened. I'm beginning to empathise with our Escort sisterhood

PT- guessing that Mellors is empathizing with the ladies observing that many punters are late/no shows etc..
We're not known as a nation for our punctuality.. but that's part of what makes us who we are.. we could run the trains & everything else like switzerland..but how boring would that be??

It was to connect to the Escorts who quite often complain of punters turning up at random times which bear little or no resemblance to the appointment time.

Mellors it's not only time but distance ask a Irish person directions ah sure it's only down the road five minutes away not very
far away at all half an hour later still walking feck sake mellors us Irish time and distance has no value .

Thats where your wrong PT !. Have a guy coming to look at a van im selling. Will he turn up? When will he turn up. Will he still buy the van if he cant see it cos it will be dark ?
