Removing previous reviews

Thx Anon, I have certainly cut and pasted fairly previous reviews recently, if there is a rule to say that this is no longer allowed, fine I'll accept that and challenge when I study them..actually, where are the review rules?

With regards to copying the previous review, I actually discussed a while ago with The Hobbyist who proposed the idea. I said that we can't allow this because reviews will become essays, and technically, it falls under this rule, albeit its still 'one' review, but then again, technically it isn't:

The maximum number of reviews a client can make of the same escort is one. If you review an escort for a second time, your latest review will be published and the previous one will be removed. Provision will made for cases where a review changes from positive to negative or visa versa.

The toss could be argued here, but unfortunately, we wish reviews to be a quick reference system, not a diary of events. We cannot allow this unfortunately. If there have been reviews in the past with previous review content included, going forward, this is something we will no longer allow.

If people.kept.copying and pasting old reviews on to new ones, you'd have a review a couple of pages long

Hey MrFussy thanks for your thread.

Basically the way Benny’s latest review of Ciara was Benny had copied and pasted his previous review of his appointment with Ciara and pasted it at the bottom of his latest one.

I took the decision to remove that as I thought by doing that it was no different than allowing his previous review to remain.

The removal of all clients pervious reviews of the same escort by whatever means was decided upon by the managers. So under the circumstances that was the decision I made.

Hope you understand where I was coming from.

This was allowed (an unwritten rule) long before any discussion you had with The Hobbyist, in fact long before you took the position of manager so it wouldn't have been a case of allowing it as that was already the case, maybe you should now update the rules to include that sub-section - amendment?

I actually agree, it is pointless copying old reviews onto new ones, maybe if there is a small element of the first you wish to carry across but not the whole thing.

It could be, but to be honest, the rule I highlighted would be completely redundant anyway if we allowed people to paste in their old reviews. Besides, because the mods have control of activating the reviews, they would just delete the previous content and contact the reviewer anyway.

I agree too. People usually begin their secondary reviews with a comment such as, 'This is my xx visit to this escort...' anyway.

It may be useful to rather than to say the previous review has been deleted to say the number of previous reviews that have been deleted.
The deleted reviews wouldn't count as now but by knowing that a reviewer has seen an escort 4 previous times for example may help a prospective client to make a decision who to see.
An escort with returning clients would be seen as a big plus.
