Whether or not you believe in exorcism, or whether or not you have a religion, doesn't change the fact that humans have been combatting "evil spirits" since time immemorial. Whether it's a bushman witchdoctor, a tribal shaman, a voodoo houngan, or a Christian exorcist, every culture has these kinds of supernatural rituals. Science and rationalism seem to be unseating these ancient customs, but every age has had its dark magic - what's the difference these days between a curse and a cursor?

I believe there are demons inside people and there is good and evil. I have been in the presence of pure evil once in my life. I did not know the person who passed by me and made every one of my nerves freeze. He didn't speak to me or interact with me in any way but I felt the presence of pure evil. Turns out when he passed I discovered he had been involved in the murders of up to twelve people. So yes I believe in evil, it may not be the devil as we are taught but there are demons and evil forces. I am not sure about exorcism. As to oujai board, keep me well away. I one knew a scientific man who had tried it as a younger man and he was not the same afterwards.

I was watching and reading a lot abut this but i don't know...if it's true....
I believe in God .... but exorcism....

The 1973 film The Exorcist was based in part on an actual exorcism.
