How can you still punt?

As per thread title how are you able to afford to punt?
Before I go any further let me emphasize that this is not an escort price thread but with the constant bad news with the economy and cutbacks in Government spending and increased charges and taxes everywhere you turn what do you have to sacrifice elsewhere to still go punting?I ask this as someone who has had to give it up as I no longer have the spare funds.

I only do it when I get the spare cash which is rare these days, but I view it as a necessary injection into the economy!!!!

Try giving up food or drink... Go busking or something just don't give up the life my man or your arm will fall off

I gave up the drink months ago and have cut down on food but even so the money just is not there anymore.

Up north things aren't quite as bad as it seems with you guys.
I'm very lucky to have the means to see two ladies a month.

Yep thinking of suggesting to government it should be part of the IMF deal, special injection into the economy grant

I agree, one has to prioritise now. When things are going bad financially,I step out of the punting zone. The needs of loved ones has to come first-- its as simple as that. There is no enjoyment in punting, if you know the money is badly needed elsewhere. I hope things get better for you soon.

for me sacrificing a night out is a really good way to gain funds, you get called the dry one by your mates but it can be worth all the hassle,, but even saying that my punting days are numbered i think
