Ruhamma again!!! (On TV3 news)
More lies again! Ruhamma's annual report was released today (apparently?), and they had a blip on the 5.30 pm TV3 news.
Apparently there has been a 9% rise in street prostitution??? How anyone can figure this out, beats me! Again the point was made that the majority of "prostitution" has gone indoors. They are pushing the old agenda of criminalizing clients. And they are urging the garda to monitor mobile phone exchanges and internet searches!! I have no idea how that doesn't infringe on an individual's freedom, but they wouldn't care about things like that.
A few last points before I end my rant;
TV3 referred to Ruhamma as an organisation which supports sex workers!!!!! How on earth can an organisation that aims to end escorting be called an organisation that supports escorts!!!!! Not to mention that they have never been willing to engage with escorts in debate or publish/ acknowlege any letters sent to them by escorts.
And all women be warned (escort and non-escort alike) - if you wear boots and walk down the street, you are a prostitute!!!!!!! Both this bit of news and the recent on TV3 blurp on escorting - showed "escorts" - who were all wearing boots! They even showed an empty room with a pair of thigh highs on the bed - as an example of a brothel room. So apparently this bit of attire brands any lady a prostitute!!
