a question pushed out at dinner parties across the land.

those who may have purchased and felt smug about their piece of
equity in their home, would have enjoyed recalling their prowess.

today, it's a different landscape, you won't hear such questions.
my opinion? i don't really know. after paying various mortgages for
20yrs (still don't own a dwelling yet) i would be sceptical. are the banks
just 'hands-off' landlords really.
