Probably a lot of both! Fundamental religions tend to be full of nutjobs!

Check out this chap Molotov Mitchell. The gun and the religious right are becoming seriously intertwined in a pretty alarming manner (yer man Mitchell is just a nauseating creature, he's so over the top I thought it was a joke the first time I saw him but I'm sorry to say he is for real)

ffs how the hell can some crazed terrorist spend an hour and a half shooting innocent kids unchallenged. What's most frightening is that this guy was not known at all to the police. Just shows how easily someone can cause such tragedy and loss.
Thank you all the ladies I had pleasure of meeting. Forever grateful for the memories

    truth is stranger than fiction

for the last three monuths norway , britian , france , italy , america have been bombing innocent
women and children in libyra are there women and childen more valable than yours

why women and childen well truth how many times can you bomb a university or a military barracks or palace after first week you kind of run out of military targets what do you do after three monuths all over oil

i believe what you give you get back thats the way life works what you do is a deep reflection of you and it affects every aspect of your life

i promote peace for all peace in iraq ,afganistan, and libya especailly in gaza where the blockade is in place pray for africa where the is war and famine at moment do not attack countries that have done you no wrong our are no threat except for having stuff you want

i bet more folk died from starvation in Somalia tonight, but they are black and poor and its an old story

the world sucks and people are truly insane and fucked up and pretty incapable of perspective

    read a history book

no one gets out alive, to die peacefully in ones own bed without too many of your friends/family hating you is the most we can really aspire to

Alec you are frightening me, I am beginning to agree with you again, please stop these sensible and even balanced comments!!! The same thought struck me about not only Somalia but the train crash in China that hasn't made it onto the tv news here!!! The news is very unbalanced as you have pointed out. However marking some deaths and not others does not lessen the horror.

That tired old canard being trotted out again. Alec I am surprised at you. The last time I checked the UN has been trying to mobilise support for the countiries at the horn of Africa for at least the last 2 months. The plight has not gone ignored.

Consider this if you will, Somalia has had no organised governance for 19 years and are mired in tribal warfare, religious extremism and human disasters like famine. When a rightwing extremist goes on a rampage in a country like Norway (that actually has its act together) then we have to pay attention.

We can aspire to a hell of a lot more than dying quitely without too many people disliking us.
    (well I can anyways)
