    Don't like too much noise but I just love when an artist can make a guitar sing.
    Here's my top 10

    1. Comfortably Numb-Pink Floyd
    2. Freebird-Lynyrd Skynyrd
    3. Alive-Pearl Jam

    5. Stairway to Heaven- Led Zeppelin

    no clue...but from reading previous threads should rory gallagher not make the top ten?...most ppl say he was awesome.

    Love you Benny!!!!! I worshipped Rory ..... saw most of his gigs in Dublin in the 70s ...... was in Ballyshannon in June for the 10th Rory Festival ...... my 26yr old son came with me and he is now a convert...... loads of check shirts, denims etc ..... and of course all those blondes with long black skirts!!!!!!! yahoo!!! I'm now goin to try and find his solo in the live version of Walk on Hot Coals and post it here ...... it is lethal! Cheers for remembering him mate. We all shouted NICE ONE RORY .......so NICE ONE BENNY!!!

    This ain't half bad either - fair play to ya Keith! Of course the story goes The Stones wanted Rory too!!!


    One of those rare occasions where the studio version is probably better!

    You'll love this one so. Rory was very introverted and shy in life but give him a stage and he was the opposite. Slash, Hendrix , Townsend and Clapton (all top guitarists) , all said Gallagher was the best guitarist ever. He wasnt as well known because real fear of flying interfered with his tours.
