I worshipped Rory ..... saw most of his gigs in Dublin in the 70s ...... was in Ballyshannon in June for the 10th Rory Festival ...... my 26yr old son came with me and he is now a convert...... loads of check shirts, denims etc ..... and of course all those blondes with long black skirts!!!!!!! yahoo!!! I'm now goin to try and find his solo in the live version of Walk on Hot Coals and post it here ...... it is lethal! Cheers for remembering him mate. We all shouted NICE ONE RORY .......so NICE ONE BENNY!!!

You'll love this one so. Rory was very introverted and shy in life but give him a stage and he was the opposite. Slash, Hendrix , Townsend and Clapton (all top guitarists) , all said Gallagher was the best guitarist ever. He wasnt as well known because real fear of flying interfered with his tours.
