It may be a new term, but it’s not a new phenomenon. Just something that has become exaggerated and magnified by the explosion of Social Networking sites like E-I , Facebook, Bebo, Twitter etc. Always online to see what is going on! How many of you have started a thread "I'm Back, what have I missed...."

Do you think you spend too much time here or on other social network sites. Does it affect your personal life, your mental health, your sleep patterns etc. Instead of going out, more and more people are online connecting with virtual friends.

Is it healthy? For those that have kids, do you think it is healthy the time they spend online with their virtual friends? It's impossible to stop, we all do it. just look who is on here all the time.

For a while I was spending more time on here than was good for me and affecting my sleep. I’ve been trying to cut back. Thank God I don’t have a Facebook account ( apart from a dummy Rodney profile for TOBL ) and never used Twitter. With work I already spend too much time online. And so far I’ve avoided a fancy 3G phone otherwise I’d spend even more time here.
this place is like Eastenders, you can miss it for weeks and still catch up in a couple of minutes
