It’s a good question and one which I have pondered on many occasions.

I have come to the conclusion that it’s not really a question of value but rather that escorts can be a viable alternative to girlfriends, for some men, in the area of sexual intimacy.

At the risk of sounding boring we are not comparing like with like.
