If anyone is looking for a nice cheap little touch screen phone. Vodafone are doing an Android phone for €60 ready to go. Looks pretty good for that price, has wifi and all ! Looks similar to HTC Wildfire.

Im using a Samsung Wave myself although they have been superseded by the Galaxy. The Iphone 4 is all hype{ They advertise a forward facing camera as a feature, most phones have had this for years} The Samsung galaxy S2 is considered the top phone in the world.Sony experia arc is no2 .HTC Desire z,LG optimus. Iphone 4 is number five . Theres no doubt That Apple have succeeded in making the Iphone desirable with saturation marketing. Most people call a smartphone an Iphone.Just as we all call vacuum cleaners a Hoover. Anyway your final choice usually will depend on your provider and your plan.

Samsung Galaxy SII.
Not only is it the best phone I’ve ever had but its also one of the best pieces of tech I’ve ever used, it truly is a brilliant piece of kit, I only have it three weeks but I love it, I highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

They do if you don't turn off some of the battery eating features like wifi and 3g when you're not using them. I have a samsung galaxy at the moment which is probably better than the iphone in my opinion. Battery life is pretty good if you use it properly. You can download an app which tells you which features use the most battery anyway. I'd stay clear of the cheap Vodafone android phones as they are worthless in the long term.
Like most Apple products the iphone is very overpriced. You'd be paying for the brand.
Are all those smartphone batteries made of Lithium-Ion? Heard the Lithium-Polymer is far better.I dont have a smartphone, but in 5 years I changed only 1 battery, which uses Lithium-Polymer and its heavily used phone.
