Ah! The picture I created of me standing there was a little misleading............I actually came and went about five or six times. I walked up and down while I was waiting .........trying to act normally. I suppose if I had just tried her bell once and left then I would be accused of being a "timewaster" and of not turning up. I had already invested my time in getting to this escort's address so it was more than just a wasted fifteen minutes

OK...Ok................... having explained my wait and all of that lets not lose sight of what this thread is about...........FAKE PHOTOS and FAKE REVIEWS and ways and means of dealing with said problem. It seems to be a problem for some posters here on this forum to keep within the threads and some otherwise excellent threads degenerate into silly remarks and equally silly and banal retorts.

So back on track.................... Many problems with fake reviews and fake photos were outlined and some simple and basic solutions were put forward now it will be interesting to hear back from Patrica or someone else from administration what plans they have arrived at to ensure that we, the punters, get the full and true facts from an escorts profile, and that the escorts get equally honest and constructive feedback and not just some bitching.

There is a problem.
It has been acknowledged by all.
Both punters and escorts have submitted ideas.............some very radical and some agreed by both punter and escort as being practical.

Patrica has a very difficult balancing act to perform here so it will be understandable if all the ideas are not taken on board but please let us know what you do decide whenever you make your decisions.

I hope I'm not too late to comment on the original post you made patricia, but I don't have that much access to the internet at the moment, your initial idea to combat these false pics is a very good one, I myself would say that 90% of escorts i have visited have fake pics. I do think that you should go one step further though..Why allow any pics if they are not verified, who wants to look at a load of beautiful pics if they mean nothing.. This would be a greater incentive to escorts to provide genuine pics..

It used to be the case that when you saw "Verified" pics on E-I, you could pretty much count on getting the girl in the pic, but the last few months there have been serveral cases of "Fake Verified" pics as the clients would say.

Naturally, this is of concern, to me, and to all clients that use this website.

I know our critics like to blame all this on E-I... But I have to defend our staff in this regard, because I know they work really hard to correctly judge photos as "Verified" or "Not Verified" and I think they are doing the best job they can in the circumstances.

Essentially, we CANNOT personally visit all the escorts listed on this website regularly to check they are who they say they are - I know this is what a lot of clients would like us to do but IT WOULD ACTUALLY BE AGAINST THE LAW FOR US TO DO THIS (It would make us organisers and controllers of prostitution to be precise!).

So, we can have to rely on other methods to verify or not verify photos as genuine, like getting the word of an escort photographer, client or other person we feel we can trust that photos are genuine, or getting ladies to send us pictures of themselves holding todays newspaper or similar to confirm they look like the girl in the pics they've sent us to publish.

For a couple of years, I think our methods for verifying photos have worked pretty well, but the last few months they don't seem to be working as well, and I think we have to be honest about this and do something about it now.

In an ideal world there wouldn't be a continual stream of escorts using fake photos and trying to fool us into believing they are real, but this isn't an ideal world and unfortunately this is happening more and more.

I know some clients have been very vocal lately telling us to 'pull our socks up' etc in this regard. What these clients don't seem to realise is that our staff never stop working very hard to make sure the information published on this site is as accurate as possible, but the problems we have faced in this area lately have been massive... The only reason clients haven't realised how massive they've become is that Sarah and Natasha have been doing a fantastic job at not being fooled by lying escorts 99+% of the time.

So, what are we to do... Should we simply get rid of the Verified / Non-Verified Photos system? It seems a shame to do that, but I'd be the first to admit that there is no point having it if it is not working.

Before we go down that road though, I've had an idea that I hope may improve things. It is not without flaws, but it is the best idea I've got, and I would like to at least trial it for 1 month:

My idea, the new rule, is: ESCORTS WHO HAVE OPTED OUT OF THE REVIEWS SYSTEM CANNOT HAVE VERIFIED GENUINE PHOTOS.

This means, if escorts want to have verified photos, they are going to have to accept reviews also... They can no longer have their photos verified genuine and refuse all reviews.

The problem with allowing ladies to have verified photos and refuse reviews is that certain ladies abuse this system.

A common example: An escort who has verified photos decides to leave town, but, instead of cancelling her ad, she gives it to a friend. The friend and the original escort are obviously not the same person and thus the clients calling for the escort are now being conned as they are no longer getting what they expected to get... However, because the lady is opted out of the review system, the clients can't share this information and thus the scam just continues on and on, wasting clients' time and money and giving this site a bad name and the industry a bad name.

We have to put a stop to scams like the above and the only logical way I can think to do that is if we now say to escorts "Sorry - If you are not going to allow reviews we cannot verify your photos genuine."

I'm sorry more and more ladies have chosen not to accept reviews over time. I know there are ladies out there who have opted out of the reviews system for valid reasons nothing to do with their being a poor service provider, but there are also ladies opted out because they are poor service providers, and, at least when nearly everyone was accepting reviews if a picture verification was wrong the clients could have their say in a review, but now the client cannot even do that if the lady has opted out of reviews.

I know this solution isn't perfect, but I would really appreciate support and feedback from good clients and good escorts alike here - I am not the bad guy here - The bad guys are the escorts determinted to get fake photos verified genuine and then refuse all reviews so the clients they con can't ever warn others... And we have to put a stop to this for the good of this industry.

Hi, just to clarify this point quickly as I realise it is one that does seem odd until you get the explanation. You do have to be a member to post a review.

If someone has posted a review and they do not appear on the members list, it is because their message board account is not "active" currently.

A common example for an account becoming not "active" if where a user changes their email address, we send out an automated email asking them to click on a link to confirm their new email address, but they don't do this.

We don't show users whose account status is not "active" on the members list. This is because doing so can promote spam. You may notice on some popular message boards that do show all users not just active users in their members lists, spammers often create loads of profiles contating links to porn sites, adverts etc and flood the members lists with these... Because we don't show profiles that don't have a confirmed email address associated with them etc, hopefully our members list is not flooded with this crap.

Pat it's a great idea and it has already done some good so I don't care what your "reasons" for doing it are............... I just hope you keep coming up with good ways to combat bad escorting services!!

I think the only way to get rid off fake pics is zero tolerance... don't allow any pics up if you are in doubts. Trust me, if there is a loophole, then it will be used. Ask all girls to verify their own pics with the pic with today's paper etc. , the once who don't want to do that, blur their faces or edit their pics into bodyparts.
There are girls who don't want to be recognised, but why don't they blur their face out.... lots of girls have pics where it showes bodyparts, but not the face, why don't they use such pics, instead of a fake one????

Zero tolerance is the only way forward.... blur the faces of the pics if yu are not sure weather it is real or not, till they are happy to cooperate....

Regarding reviewes, I'll opt in as soon as there will be a line drown up. Not beeing able to get hold of the lady, or her phone was busy is not a review. I think somehow they also need to be verified back with the punters, before they go up..... a point system along with it would be useful, so you could see the score before you click on it and read on....
