hey man, it's all about how you look at things, as EbonyAmber says a sexually based encounter with an escort would be better than falling for another woman. If there is ever any reason to cheat on your wife/gf then these are the reasons above.
If I were you I would go and see an escort because if you are feeling that way about it and if the chance did pop up to do it in a bar or something I would recon the chances of getting found out are away higher than seeing an escort, what I would do is go and see a escort for half a hour but don't go for sex go for lap dancing, touching messing about. See how you feel afterwards. If you do feel guilty then because you didn't have sex might help a bit.
