Guys I'm sorry to say it I visIt and work in the north a lot and the devide is easing slightly but it still there, let me tell you us Irish are one of the most racist societys around, you look at some of the people that have gone to America and the shit they say when they come back. I think most countries with low rates of immigration probably are. Integration takes time. I used to live in a small place in the north of England where in 10 years I did not see one non-white person. I'm sure there are people who have lived there all their lives who have never seen anyone with black skin.
But, that's all it is...skin! People, and cultures are diverse and I think it's wonderful.

I lived in Spain for a couple of years and while there I dated a girl from Brazil. We were together for nearly two years and I really thought she was the one.
The relationship came to an abrupt end when she told me that I wouldn’t be acceptable to her family and we broke up. It came as a bit of a shock to me as it had never entered my head. She declined to explain why I wouldn’t be acceptable and as I am a reasonably well adjusted male I put it down to race/colour.
