I have never been to Australia, but would love to visit one day.. Need six weeks to explore the country..

6 months might be more appropriate! It's a really big place with lots to see!! Even then you won't see it all.....

Nothing can beat a cross country drive from LA to NY via route 66 in the US
you should give it about 2 - 3 weeks to really enjoy the sights

no but if i ever can afford to do the longer SA tour then Arg, brazil, venezuela and colombia and mexico are on my list
