    Default Theoretical Football Question

Watching the two Scottish games today that involved Celtic and Rangers my question is, if Celtic and Rangers were accepted into the premier league would they last more than one season before being relegated?

ps this is a purely footballing question and not intended to upset our cousins north of Hadrian's Wall.

Hard one CG. Personally i think they would be able to attract much better players than they are able to do now so in that case would probably survive.

They would be perennial mid table finishers imo.

I think mid table would be a struggle for them as their squads stand at the moment.

Lower mid table then. They would stay up.

Most players in the prime wont go to play in Scotland because of the lack of good teams there. I remember a French player (cant think of his name) turning down Rangers saying i would only play in 4 decent games a season against Celtic.

Would have to agree with Rayden, they would struggle because they would have to go out and graft each week.

they would struggle alot.2years at most and both would be relegated, why,,,,because both need champions league football for funds to pay player wages, they wouldnt be able to afford players to compete in the premier league and the players they have wouldnt be able to give der all week in week out,the thing with those 2 teams is dey really only play a dozen hard games at most so they can rise to the ocassion but asking them to perform week in week out would be to much 4 them.

I think in the premiership over time Celtic would become a huge club,as has been already mentioned they have a brand that
if marketed properly could be as big as any club brand already there. They have a great base to start from with a fanatical
support, i can guarntee that u would get a huge wave of new supporters going to games there once the top premiership sides
would be playing there. In my opinion the best atmosphere by far in any stadiums are Parkhead and Anfield. Im in no doubt if
people started to attend Celtic Games they would get hooked very quickly
    Blatant promotion should be outlawed
